About the Role
Rapidops has been working with top manufacturing and distribution clients to digitize operations, automate processes and improve their business with actionable intelligence. We are expanding our sales team in Charlotte, NC. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced business development professional in our Manufacturing, Distribution and Supply Chain vertical to sell our full suite of services and software platforms (including transformation consulting, software engineering, cloud enablement, data analytics, AI and IoT automations, demand and supply predictions, industry 4.0, customer and supplier intelligence, supply chain analytics and enterprise eCommerce) into the mid and large enterprise accounts.
As a Senior Account Executive in this vertical, you will be responsible for hunting new clients in the sector and growing them into customers for life. You will have plenty of opportunities to learn, grow and earn as one of the early members of the newly formed sales and marketing team. You should have experience in the manufacturing and supply chain domain with an existing network of contacts. You have great relationship and network-building skills to form new connections and sell into prospect organizations. You must have a demonstrable track record of consistently achieving your sales targets. You will work closely with our marketing teams, client partners, offshore leaders and executive team to grow the entire practice to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pursue new prospects and accounts in the manufacturing and supply chain industry.
- Drive growth by hunting new opportunities for Rapidops
- Use your deep understanding of market, competition and clients to develop winning sales strategies
- Build and scale client relationships
- Leverage your network and relationship skills to build a consistent sales pipeline
- Work closely with other sales team members to prepare proposals, RFI responses, and contract negotiations
- Be the face of Rapidops to the market, represent Rapidops at events and help position Rapidops as an industry leader and trusted advisor
- Create pitches, deliver presentations, and lead sales conversations for new opportunities
- Leverage the marketing and sales tools to find, nurture and convert prospects into new customers
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience selling consulting solutions into Manufacturing, Supply Chain or relevant domain
- 3+ years of experience in selling digital transformation, data analytics, AI, and business consulting services
- Understanding of the global delivery model (onshore/offshore)
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain and relevant industry segments
- Understanding of technology trends and their impacts on the industry vertical
- Demonstrated success selling enterprise deals in the $1M to $10M range
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills to lead sales conversations and tailored pitches
- Self-organized and self-motivated to own your effort and outcomes
- Hunger and drive to exceed your goals and grow fast
- 4-years bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- History of achieving/crushing the sales targets
- Experience with software contract negotiation
- Ability to identify and define transformative solutions within abstract (and low information) client environments
- Ability to identify upcoming RFPs and business opportunities by networking with prospects and client stakeholders
